The Original Supercard

These are the results from WCW Starrcade, being held by World Championship Wrestling. It is being held in front of 30,000 people at San Antonio Alamo Stadium in San Antonio, Texas. It’s a Sell Out!


We get introduced to Starrcade by Tony Schiavone. Our main event match will be a Steel Cage match with Hulk Hogan vs. Curt Hennig for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Hogan is looking for revenge on Hennig that has been attacking him and Sting on several occasions during the epic feud with Ric Flair, while Hennig has a unique shot at the title.

Your hosts are Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan and Mike Tenay.

Tony Schiavone says that the fans are jam packed in the arena.

Randy Savage has come to WCW. Will he slap Hulk Hogan in the face or shake his hand?


Cruiserweight Division Vignette

Eric Bischoff hypes an upcoming tournament to crown a WCW Cruiserweight Champion and that former WCW Light Heavyweight champions Brian Pillman, Brad Armstrong and Jushin Thunder Liger might be involved in it. The tournament will also feature some of the best high-flying talents from Mexico and Japan.

Bobby Heenan calls Alex Wright the “Wundercoon”, while Tony Schiavone tries to get Wright over as a speedy high flier…

Alex Wright vs Paul Orndorff

After being outmuscled and bullied around by the narcissistic bully, and not being able to make any comebacks, Alex Wright reverses a corner Irish Whip with a corner Backflip and rolls Mr. Wonderful up for the win. In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn’t have much heat, Alex Wright defeated Paul Orndorff in 7:32 by pinfall with a quick roll up out of nowhere. Mr. Wonderful is shocked and is receiving thunderous “Paula” chants from the crowd. The fans actually seems more interested in taunting Orndorff and than cheering Alex Wright.

Interview w/ Randy Savage

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is talking to “Macho Man” Randy Savage!

Savage is in WCW and calls himself the No. 1 wrestler in the World and calls WCW World Heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan the No. 2 wrestler. Okerlund tells Savage that he has to wait until the main event to talk to Hogan.

“Macho Man has come to WCW. Will he slap Hogan in the face or shake his hand? We’ll find out tonight. “

Stars ‘n’ Stripes vs. The Blue Bloods

In a bout that had good wrestling and pure red hot heel heat from the crowd, The Blue Bloods defeated Stars ‘n’ Stripes in 11:37 when Steven Regal defeated The Patriot by submission with a Regal Stretch after blatantly cheating. Regal is excelling as the snobbish British heel and receives major heel heat by cheating, stalling and taunting the Patriotic American fans.

The Four Horsemen Vignette

The Four Horsemen: “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, “Superstar” Steve Austin, “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson and several women are shown just arriving at the arena in a limo. They are wearing expensive suits, rolex watches and gold jewelry. They’ve been partying in Las Vegas and are taking a limo from the airport to the arena.

We’re every woman’s dream and every man’s nightmare – Wooo! Tonight they are taking care of everyone that gets in their way to prove they are the “Alphas in WCW”.

They then held up the sign of the Four Horsemen to end the promo.

Here comes “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan with an American flag in one hand and his trusty 2×4 in the other resulting in thunderous “U-S-A!” “U-S-A!” “U-S-A!” chants.


Bobby “The Brain” Heenan says “For Duggan to take a shower is a high-risk maneuver.”


Col. Parker comes out and introduces his mystery man…he runs down his stats and introduces “The Beast From the East” Bam Bam Bigelow!


Five Minute Challenge

Jim Duggan vs. Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Col. Parker

Duggan tries to finish his opponent with Elbow Drops, Punches and Clotheslines. The crowd erupts, they’re really behind Duggan. Duggan goes for another Clothesline, but runs full speed into a Running Splash. Bam Bam mounts a comeback and hits a Diving Splash. Duggan gets his foot on the rope before Bigelow gets in pinning position.

Bigelow distracts the referee, while Col. Parker pokes Duggan in the eyes. Referee Nick Patrick was too busy discussing with Bam Bam to see it. Bigelow headbutts his opponent and finish him off with a Triple Powerbomb.

In an extremely short match, Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Jim Duggan in a Five Minute Challenge match in 2:58 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb.

Interview w/ The Stud Stable

Gene Okerlund had an interview with Col. Robert Parker hyping his newest client “The Beast From the East” Bam Bam Bigelow.

A fearsome competitor; known for his painful-looking skull tattoo and flame-adorned bodysuit. Unlike many big men, he is also an incredibly talented performer, somehow capable of hurling his mammoth frame around the ring in the manner of an acrobat without compromising his formidable power game.

Elvis wannabee Honky Tonk Man receives heel heat, while “The Prettiest Man in WCW” Johnny B. Badd receives huge pop when making his entrance with two Badd Blaster. Badd launches confetti all over the place…


Brain says “We should have gone to here, instead of Hiroshima.”
Tony Schiavone responds with “What was that again?”
Heenan “We should have bombed this town, instead of Hiroshima. We would have rebuilt it in about half an hour.”
Schiavone “Get the hook. Get the hook for Brain.”


Loser Leaves WCW Match

Johnny B. Badd vs. Honky Tonk Man

In a cartoony WWF-style match, “The Badd Man” Johnny B. Badd defeated Honky Tonk Man in a Loser Leaves WCW match in 10:28 by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press after knocking him out with the Tutti Frutti.

Post Match Beatdown

The match is over. Johnny B. Badd is celebrating, but then stops and sees his opponent. He steals his opponents guitar and smashes it over Honky’s head resulting in a thunderous crowd response. The fans loved it! Badd grabs a microphone and sing “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” as Honky Tonk Man are being escorted out of the arena by WCW Security.

Texas Death Match

The Nasty Boys vs. Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang w/ Woman

In a insane garbage brawl that had stiff wrestling and a excellent reaction from the crowd, The Nasty Boys defeated Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang in a Texas Death match in 15:27 when One Man Gang could not beat a ten count after being pinned with a Running Powerslam by Brian Knobbs. Brutal power moves, stiff and sloppy wrestling, and tons of chairshots ensures that all four men left the battle feeling like they’d been hit by trucks. The four madmen managed putting together a violent, epic ultra-stiff match of the year candidate that will go down in history as one of WCW’s most hard-hitting bouts ever.

Post Match Humilitation

The match is over and The Nasties continues to beat their opponents down with chairs and trashcans.

It’s time for the mentally demoralizing Pit Stop.

Jerry Sags raise his arm exposing his arm pit, indicating what the next step is, while Brian Knobbs grab the terrified Woman’s head, lead her over to his partner and proceed to rub Woman’s face directly into Sags exposed and sweaty armpit.

The pit stench is repugnant and makes her gag, while The Nasties laughs and screams that they haven’t showered for weeks.

WCW World Tag Team Title Match

Fire and Ice w/ Teddy Long vs. Harlem Heat

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Harlem Heat defeated Fire and Ice in 14:13 when Stevie Ray defeated Ice Train by pinfall by using underhanded tactics. Harlem Heat make defence number 4 of their WCW World Tag Team Championship titles. Powerhouse duo Fire and Ice managed to outmuscle the champions throughout the match, but Harlem Heat managed to cheat behind the referees back to defend their titles.

Rating: 75 B-


Post Match Confrontation

Ice Train and Scott “Flash” Norton are unhappy at Harlem Heat using dirty tactis. The powerhouse duo clear the ring and chased Booker T and Stevie Ray backstage.

Falls Count Anywhere Match w/ Ray Traylor as Special Referee

Dustin Rhodes vs. Meng w/ Col. Parker

“There are 3 types of men: tough men, wrestler-tough men, and then there’s Meng; The Face of Fear. A man truly feared and respected for his brute strength and unprecedented intensity. Crowd’s hot and the match has a ton of energy and drama with Dustin Rhodes as the perfect babyface in peril as Meng no-sells his offense!

Dustin Rhodes taking a beating like few other top stars in wrestling history would allow. In the end, Dustin gets hold of a steel chair hit Meng with multiple chairshots and scored the pin.

In an exceptional match, Dustin Rhodes defeated Meng in a 1 vs 1 Falls Count Anywhere match in 14:58 by a fast-counted pinfall from Ray “The Law” Traylor.

Post Match Brawl

Ray Traylor and Meng are in the ring, and are squaring off, unhappy about the outcome of the match. The argument soon turns physical, and they are joined by Dustin Rhodes and Bam Bam Bigelow for a wild brawl, with the chaos spilling out all around ringside. Ray “The Law” Traylor takes out a conceled baseball bat from his trenchcoat and use it to beat down Meng.

Eventually a number of officials and other wrestlers have to hit the ring and pull them apart before they kill each other.

Best of Seven Series Match 3

Brian Pillman vs. Steve Austin w/ Jeannie

Crowd’s hot and the match has a ton of energy. Brian Pillman had a great comeback segment and the fans are really into it, when “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson arrives and helps Austin to distract the referee.

In an epic bout that had sensational wrestling and great heat, Steve Austin defeated Brian Pillman in a Best of Seven Series match in 30:24 by submission with a Hollywood and Vine after a distraction from Arn Anderson.

Rating: 91 A


Interview w/ John Tenta

“Mean” Gene Okerlund had an interview with Jimmy Hart and “Big” John Tenta hyping his upcoming singles match with Sting. Tenta says, “This is about lifestyles. Everything you stand for, we stand against.” “Tonight it’s the end of Sting, then Hulkamania is next.”

Interview w/ Sting

Gene Okerlund had an interview with Sting hyping his upcoming singles match with John Tenta. Sting says that he’s “tired, tired and more tired of talking about what he’s going to do.” He calls the Stingers his lifeblood and says that he is going into this match as a “Giant Killer.” and ending it with the Scorpion Deathlock.

Sting makes his entrance and the fans explode for Sting’s entrance. The fans are mental for Sting…


Sting vs. John Tenta w/ Jimmy Hart

This is a generic topple the giant affair. John Tenta can’t be knocked down. Can Sting do it tonight at Starrcade? Let’s find out.

Sting’s primary move is a kick to the thigh, which is a generic topple the giant move. After a couple of minutes, Sting kicks Tenta on the back of the thigh from the front and his toe gets the big man right in the balls. He wants to fall to the mat, but doesn’t, so he crumbles to his knees and collects himself outside.

Sting gets a Clothesline and Tenta falls to his back, but he immediately gets up and Sting does a Diving Chop, a Clothesline, a Dropkick and a Stinger Splash, but Tenta stays on his feet. For the Stinger Splash, the referee was sandwiched between Tenta and the turnbuckle, so he collapses.

While the referee is down Jimmy Hart try to use his megaphone to knock out Sting, but accidentally hit John Tenta with it. The weasel-like manager then eats a stiff punch from Sting and goes down. John Tenta is mounting a comeback. The big man has a solid set of moves, and he does them well. He’s owns Sting with Elbow Drops, Clotheslines and a good looking Powerslam.

Sting counters and hits a Shoulder Block that knocks Tenta over. Sting hits three Stinger Splashes and a Scoop Slam. The crowd goes insane for the Scorpion Deathlock. The crowd erupts as Sting puts on the Scorpion Deathlock. Referee Nick Patrick runs into the ring and calls for the bell, declaring Sting the winner by submission. 

In a bout that had sensational wrestling and fantastic heat, Sting defeated John Tenta in 15:44 by submission with a Scorpion Deathlock. During the match we also had Jimmy Hart accidentally hit John Tenta.

Rating: 87 B+


Interview w/ Hulk Hogan

Cut to the locker room and Mean Gene is interviewing WCW World Heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan.

Well, You Know Something, Mean Gene…

Hogan says that “Macho Man” Randy Savage would be making a mistake if he slaps him in the face. And, that their personal problems in the Titanic Wrestling Federation were never settled. But tonight brother, he just wants to take care of Curt Hennig.

“Curt Hennig! Whatcha gonna do, brother, when the largest arms in the world and Hulkamania run Wild on You?!”

Ricky Steamboat vs. Arn Anderson vs. Vader

Crowd’s hot and the no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners match has a ton of energy, drama and several great comeback segments!

In an exceptional match, Vader defeated Ricky Steamboat and Arn Anderson in a Triple Threat match in 30:02 when Vader defeated Ricky Steamboat by pinfall with a Vadersault. Vader wins the WCW United States Championship title. This match will go to history as one of the WCW all-time classics.

Randy Savage Vignette

A vignette of “Macho Man” Randy Savage stating the galaxy might not be big enough for both he and WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan and that they’d test the waters at Starrcade.

Hulk Hogan and Curt Hennig come out and then Michael Buffer introduces them. When Buffer introduces Hogan, Hogan’s music plays a second time and a second round of pyro goes off.

Tony Schiavone “How many times have you heard me say, ‘Here come Hogan back again?’ And you’re gonna hear me say it one more time.”


Steel Cage Match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Hulk Hogan vs. Curt Hennig

Crowd’s hot and the epic match has a ton of energy. Curt Hennig is just masterclass tonight as he carries Hulk Hogan to his best WCW match yet. Hulk Hogan looks to the right. Hulk Hogan looks to the left. The Hulkamaniacs start to cheer. Hulk Up Time! Hogan, shaking his fists, looks deep within himself and remembers what A Real American Hero is.

In a bout that had unbelievable heat and superb wrestling, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and Steve Austin come to the ring and Hogan fights off all three. The finger wag and the crowd goes nuts and he makes his big comeback! Punch, Punch, Punch, Irish Whip and Big Boot.

He then hits the big Leg Drop on Curt Hennig for 1-2-3! Hulk Hogan defeated Curt Hennig in a Steel Cage match in 20:18 by pinfall. Hulk Hogan makes defence number 2 of his WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

Post Match Standoff

Hulk Hogan is celebrating his victory in the ring. “The Nature” Ric Flair, “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson and “Superstar” Steve Austin wants to give Hogan another Horseman Stomp…

But…

Hogan’s trusty ally Sting came out, to keep The Horsemen away.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage runs out during the standoff between Hogan/Sting and The Four Horsemen.

Anderson has steel chair and is about to use it. Anderson gives the steel chair to Savage, who feigns going into the ring, only to turn around and nail Anderson with it. Then Savage attacks Ric Flair with the  chair; while and Hogan and Sting attacks Hennig and Austin.

The Four Horsemen run off while Savage would creep into the Steel Cage and point at Hogan, the way only Macho Man can, and then slowly turns it into a handshake of respect. Savage and Hogan shake hands in the ring. The two then pose in the ring. 

As Hogan celebrates, Dustin Rhodes, Jim Duggan and others join the celebration.

Post Match Celebration

Having picked up the victory, Hulk Hogan celebrates in the ring with his friends.

But before long, Vader and Harley Race runs in and confronts Hogan.

Vader accuse Hogan and Flair on avoiding to face him! Says that Flair did owe him a rematch!

Vader says that he sees fear in Hogan’s eyes and in his soul.

Vader says that Hogan is afraid of him. Vader, the WCW United States champion, is also the No. 1 contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and demands the match right now.

Hogan decides that maybe it’s Vader time right now and then pushes Vader. We’ve got a pull apart brawl on our hands and Hogan’s friends force Vader to leave.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel talks to Mean Gene and Okerlund is really upset. Bockwinkel says that Vader is right in that he deserves a match and Gene just yells at him. Mean Gene calls it all “bureaucratic B.S.”

The show then goes off the air with everyone celebrating, save for the Rocky Mountain Horror, Vader, who is staring at Hogan from the ramp way.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn’t have much heat, Honky Tonk Man defeated David Sammartino in 6:07 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.

For once ripped muscle boys Jim Steele and Van Hammer meets a team just as big and powerful as themselves. In a bout that had big power moves, but poor crowd heat, Jim Steele & Van Hammer defeated The Power Company in 5:48 when Van Hammer defeated Dean Power by pinfall with a Hammer Throw.

The Masked Wreckers vs. Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang w/ Woman

In a unsuspected stiff-as-hell-brawlfest, with good heat that took the fans by surprise, Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang defeated The Masked Wreckers in 4:44 when Kevin Sullivan defeated Masked Wrecker II by pinfall with The Most Vicious Double Stomp Ever.

In a hard-hitting match with big power moves, Miracle Violence Connection defeated The Texas Hangmen in a Texas Death match in 5:33 when Killer could not beat a ten count after being pinned with a Doctor Bomb by Steve Williams.

After the match Col. Parker is all smiles and very self-confident, he has a big surprise. At Starrcade he will debut his next big signing. A Internationally recognized top wrestler and a legitimate contender to the WCW World Heavyweight title and the WCW United States title. He has found a superstar that he will manage in WCW and it is one of the greatest Stars in Pro Wrestling. Parker promises the fans that at Starrcade his newest acquisition will defeat “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan in a Five Minute Challenge. Duggan has already agreed to the challenge.

Gene Okerlund is conducting an interview with Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang, alongside Woman. Sullivan is furious about The Nasties mocking Woman and calling her ugly. He then added he and One Man Gang will take care of the Nasty Boys at Starrcade. He warns The Nasties and brags that he will send them into extinction just like he did with his brother Evad and with the deranged desert madman Cactus Jack.

In a bout that had decent wrestling and good heat, patriotic fan favorites The Eagle & The Patriot defeated Cuban thug Fidel Sierra and The Terrorist in 5:02 when The Patriot defeated The Terrorist by pinfall with a Patriot Missile.

Highlights from Battlebowl

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Vader won a Battlebowl in 59:32. The other members of the ‘final four’ were Sting, Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat, with Sting being the final elimination. Vader got the most eliminations over the course of the match. Vader wins the WCW Battlebowl title.

Post Match Celebration

Nick Bockwinkel, Eric Bischoff, Gene Okerlund and Diamond Girl are presenting Vader with a ring to commemorate his victory at Battlebowl. Having picked up the victory, Vader celebrates in the ring, and goes crazy, walking around the ring like a madman battering away at the ring posts.

Vader says that his sights is set on WCW World Heavyweight Champion; Hulk Hogan. At Superbrawl Vader will destroy Hulkamania and Hulk Hogan. Harley says that Vader is unstoppable. Vader fears no man and he feels no pain! Vader is one of the toughest and most hard hitting wrestlers in the history of the industry.

“The only man to hold versions of the World Title on four Continents, making him the closest thing professional wrestling has ever had to a true world champion.”

Vader asks Diamond Girl who the man is, with a clearly nervous Diamond Girl saying that it is Vader…

Vader threw around the barriers in anger…

“Who’s the man?”

Vader continues to throw around the steel barriers as the show came to a close…

In an extremely short match, Bad Attitude defeated Rock ‘n’ Roll Express themed jobbers Todd Morton and Tyler Morton in 4:35 when “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton defeated Todd Morton by pinfall with an Alabama Jam.

They are wearing expensive suits, rolex watches and gold jewelry. They’ve been partying in Atlantic City and are taking a limo from the airport to the arena. Tonight they are taking care of everyone that gets in their way to prove they are the “Alphas in WCW”. They then held up the sign of the Four Horsemen to end the promo.

No! Austin is completely devastated and wildly protest to the referee.

Sting is in big trouble against Jerry Sags that’s clubbering away. Sting wants to tag out, but Flair just “Woooos!” at him and slowly struts down the apron. Flair finally stop being a jerk because if they lose, they will not go to Battlebowl. In a good match, Ric Flair and Sting defeated Jerry Sags and Honky Tonk Man in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team match in 16:14 when Ric Flair defeated Elvis wannabee Honky Tonk Man by submission with a Figure Four Leglock.

Eric Bischoff had an interview with fan favourite Sting hyping the Battlebowl. The Stinger is intense and says that he will take apart the likes of Ric Flair, The Great Muta, Vader, and anyone else that gets in his way to prove that he is the number one in WCW.

Sullivan finally stop beating up his partner because if they lose, he can’t go to Battlebowl. “Lord” Steven Regal’s pissed over who his partner is, and saying he needed a bath immdiately to clean up after being that close to Brian Knobbs, Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang. In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, One Man Gang and Steven Regal defeated Brian Knobbs and Kevin Sullivan in a Lethal Lottery Tag Team match in 9:52 when Steven Regal defeated Kevin Sullivan by submission with a Regal Stretch after blatantly cheating when the referee was distracted.

Pull Apart Brawl

Brian Knobbs and Kevin Sullivan are in the ring, and are squaring off, unhappy about losing the match. The argument turns physical, and they are joined by One Man Gang and Jerry Sags for a wild stiff and sloppy brawl, with the chaos spilling out all around ringside. Eventually a number of officials and other wrestlers have to hit the ring and pull them apart before they kill each other.

Eric Bischoff had an interview with Col. Robert Parker hyping his clients in The Stud Stable. Col. Rob Parker is wearing a white suit and puffing his cigar. He says that he is a relative of Col. Tom Parker and that he is in WCW to manage the biggest Stars of All Time and to make The Stud Stable the most dominant stable in the history of Professional Wrestling. Meng is an unstoppable monster and the “Scariest Man in the History of Wrestling”. Hard-hitting Japanese blue chipper Kurosawa is a top contender for the WCW World Television title and The Miracle Violence Connection are the No 1 Condenters in the Tag Team Division.

When he leaves the interview he gave Bobby Heenan a Cuban cigar, which makes “The Brain” very happy…

Eric Bischoff had an interview with Vader and Harley Race hyping the Battlebowl. Vader says that Hulk Hogan is a coward, and that he will take the WCW World title. Harley Race claims that Hogan is avoiding Vader, but you can’t hide from “The Man They Call Vader”.

Vader noted that he injured Nikita Koloff, Ron Simmons, Sting, Cactus Jack, The Guardian Angel and Joe Thurman and then goes on full berzerk mode punching away on the interior of the locker room…

Harley Race says that the interview is over as Vader throw chairs around…

It’s a 16-man battle royal to start. As Bobby “The Brain” Heenan says, “Not a lot to call here, you just watch ‘em fight.”

Only one man can win.

Steve Keirn is the first guy eliminated by Vader. The Patriot goes next after Steven Regal ducked a charge. Johnny B. Badd gets thrown over the top rope. Scott Norton gets rid of Bobby Eaton. Jim Duggan tries to eliminate Vader, but it doesn’t happen though. Instead Vader gets rid of Jim Duggan, as One Man Gang eliminates Maxx Payne. Right after that, Scott Norton clotheslines One Man Gang to the floor. Then Vader come right up behind Norton and toss him out. Lots of brawling follows without any eliminations for a while, until Steven Regal sends Brian Pillman over the ropes. Sting backdrops One Man Gang and dumps him out. Ricky Steamboat comes up behind Steven Regal and tosses him out too. Meanwhile on the other side of the ring, Dustin Rhodes backdrops The Great Muta over the top. Next, Vader comes up behind Dustin Rhodes to dump him out.

Final Four

Sting, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat and Vader. While Steamboat and Flair have a technical wrestling match, Sting avoids a corner splash from Vader. Sting tries a Suplex, but of course its reversed. Right after the Suplex, Vader drops an elbow in between Sting’s legs. Meanwhile, Steamboat and Flair are chopping one another. Sting starts beating the crap out of Vader. Steamboat eats a boot from Flair as he comes off the top and Vader gets Slammed as he comes off the top by the Stinger. The crowd freakin erupts as Sting starts punching the crap out of Vader until he’s cornered and whipped into a Vaderbomb. Sting gets punched around and splashed by Vader, but he sits up on a second attempt. Flair tries to toss out Sting when he turns around to punch at Vader. He can’t get him over, so he sets up Sting for a Pump Splash from Vader instead. Sting avoids an Avalanche and Flair gets nailed instead. Ricky Steamboat tosses Ric Flair out of the ring, but his momentum sends him falling down to the floor so it counts as an elimination. Now it’s just Sting vs. Vader. Sting places Vader up in the corner and tries to kick him out. When that doesn’t work, he charges in with a Stinger Splash. But, Vader moves out of the way and Sting flies out to the floor to give Vader the win.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Vader won a Battlebowl in 59:32. The other members of the ‘final four’ were Sting, Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat, with Sting being the final elimination. Vader got the most eliminations over the course of the match. Vader wins the WCW Battlebowl title.

Post Match Celebration

Nick Bockwinkel, Eric Bischoff, Gene Okerlund and Diamond Girl are presenting Vader with a ring to commemorate his victory at Battlebowl. Having picked up the victory, Vader celebrates in the ring, and goes crazy, walking around the ring like a madman battering away at the ring posts.

Vader says that his sights is set on WCW World Heavyweight Champion; Hulk Hogan. At Superbrawl Vader will destroy Hulkamania and Hulk Hogan. Harley says that Vader is unstoppable. Vader fears no man and he feels no pain! Vader is one of the toughest and most hard hitting wrestlers in the history of the industry.

“The only man to hold versions of the World Title on four Continents, making him the closest thing professional wrestling has ever had to a true world champion.”

Vader asks Diamond Girl who the man is, with a clearly nervous Diamond Girl saying that it is Vader…

Vader threw around the barriers in anger…

“Who’s the man?”

“It’s Vader!”

“Vader is the man!”

“I rule the WCW and no one can stop me!”

Vader continues to throw around the steel barriers as the show came to a close…
